MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission Statement of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church shall be to foster and maintain public worship, to carry out the great commission of Jesus Christ, to promote Christian Fellowship, spiritual growth among its members, bible study and instruction in Baptist doctrine, and to combine the effort of individual members in evangelism, missions, and benevolence.

SCHEDULE
Our Sunday School is aged, from age three to senior adult and begins at 9:45 a.m. Our worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. Our worship service is a blend of contemporary praise songs, contemporary choruses, gospel hymns, contemporary hymns, and Bible based preaching.
MUSIC MINISTRIES
Music is an integral component of our ministry and mission at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. We have 4 choirs including the Musical Choir (adults), the Male Chorus, Jubilee Choir, and C.J. Jackson Sunbeam Singers (children) and L.R. Dickerson Youth Choir (teens).
FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
The Men’s Fellowship meets for breakfast as schedule permits. The Men’s group sponsors various activities for fellowship and fun. Their Saturday meetings include breakfast, bible study, prayer, and work around the church and community.
The Women’s Fellowship meets the first Saturday of each month at 11:00 am. Their Saturday meetings include bible study, workshops, prayer, fun activities, lunch, and visitation of the sick and shut-in.
